.NAME Domains

Introduced in 2001, the .NAME universal top-level domain extension is the single TLD intended for personal sites only. These domain names can be personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other designations people are known by. At the beginning, only third-level registrations were allowed, so if you wished to purchase john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Existing 3rd-level names remained working.

Through our company, you can purchase your dot NAME domain for an interval between one and ten years. You will have the chance to alter the WHOIS contact details, to park your domain, to modify Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already registered domain to our firm if you receive its EPP transfer authorization code from the present registrar company and we will renew it when the transfer has been done. There are no specific regulations on who can purchase a .NAME domain name, but in order to maintain the objective behind its creation alive, the Registry may verify who the Registrant is and if there is no link between the owner and the actual domain, the registration could be challenged.
